The National Association of Parliamentarians is the largest non-profit association of parliamentarians in the world. NAP is dedicated to the study, promotion, and use of parliamentary procedure as the basis of democratic process during meetings worldwide.

The Parliamentarians of Brooklyn New York (PBNY) is a unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians. Established in 2018, it is the second largest and fastest growing unit in the organization.
The three core mandates of the unit are to:
A) Increase acumen in, and provide on-going professional development for members
B) Promote the study of parliamentary procedure basic for young people
C) Assist CBO’s, social, civic, not-for-profit and other organizations that utilize Robert’s Rules of Order as it’s parliamentary authority in improving its practices and the efficiency of its meetings, through public workshops and consulting
